Sven Johansson is a mix engineer based at Fashionpolice Studios in central Stockholm. His mixes have shaped Swedish records spanning folk, art‑rock and experimental music – recognised at the highest tier of Swedish music awards (Grammis, P3 Guld, Manifest) and acclaimed internationally. At Grammis 2026 Sven’s mixes won two categories: Best Alternative Pop (Anna von Hausswolff’s Iconoclasts) and Best Folk (Teodor Wolgers’ Episod i Vikens kapell). Iconoclasts also won P3 Guld Album of the Year, received 5/5 from The Guardian, earned Metacritic universal acclaim (88), and was named to best‑of‑2025 lists by Mojo, Uncut and Brooklyn Vegan. Other selected work: Sara Parkman’s Eros Agape Philia (Grammis Best Folk, 2023), Maria W Horn & Sara Parkman’s Funeral Folk (Manifest Best Experimental, 2023), and Vilma Flood’s Flood, plus Diane Emerita’s Porcelain Heart and the original 1994 ECM classic Lena Willemark & Ale Möller’s Nordan. International credits include Iggy Pop and Ethel Cain. Other Swedish and Nordic artists Sven has worked with: Diane Emerita, Sofia HK, Christian Kjellvander, Music Is the Weapon, Petra Marklund, Tingsek, Linnea Henriksson, Markus Krunegård, Moonica Mac, Loney Dear, Wilma Holmes, Cajsa Siik, and Veronica Maggio.
